“Fleurissements” – Guerrilla Flower Installations by Geoffroy Mottart at Public Monuments in Brussels

Ähnlich wie die Künstler Monsieur Plant und Bridget Beth Collins aka Flora Forager lebt auch Geoffroy Mottart aus Frankreich seine immense Kreativität auf dem Felde der Botanical-Art aus. Im Rahmen seines Projekts “Fleurissements” verpasst der gute Mann diversen Statuen, Skulpturen und Monumenten im öffentlichen Raum, temporären Kopf- und Gesichtsschmuck aus bunten Blumen. Einige Aufnahmen von aktuellen Kreationen aus dem Schaffen von Mottart, welche in diesem Jahr in Brüssel entstanden, lassen sich direkt hier unten bestaunen. Just have a look + Enjoy:

Over the last year, florist Geoffroy Mottart has constructed elaborate plant arrangements in the form of flower crowns and beards that he installs on public monuments around Brussels. The temporary urban interventions titled Fleurissements last only for a day or so before being removed, but it gives the artist enough time to take a few photos which he shares on Instagram. While some statues are only targeted once, others are simply too tantalizing to resist; Mottart has returned to a bust of Leopold II of Belgium time and time again with fashionable new floral designs.
