Fat Freddy’s Drop Live at Kotahi Music Festival // Full Video
Habe mich neulich erst gefragt, ob es wohl etwas Neues von dieser einen Band aus Wellington/Neuseeland mit dem Namen Fat Freddy’s Drop gibt, die ich doch so unique und außerordentlich gut fand. Und siehe da, jüngst hat das Kotahi Music Festival 2022 stattgefunden, was in diesem Video hier so ein bisschen an ein Tiny Desk Klassenzimmer Konzert erinnert.
Das Kotahi Festival wird jeden Waitangi-Tag (06. Februar, Nationalfeiertag in Neuseeland, Unterzeichnung des Vertrages von Waitangi (Neuseelands Gründungsdokument)) von einer Community für die Community veranstaltet und steht für lokalen Stolz, Zugehörigkeit, Belastbarkeit und Manaakitanga (Maori für Gastfreundschaft, Freundlichkeit, Großzügigkeit + Support).
