Typographic Art Drawn on IKEA Pencils, Sneaker Boxes or Bagels by Rob Draper (12 Pictures)
UK-based designer and illustrator Rob Draper’s latest projects are done with objects that are free, and quite often, destined for the trash bin — by putting his beautiful hand-lettered typographic artworks on them, he transforms them into something valuable. For instance, the free paper napkins from coffee chains like Starbucks and Costa seem to be one of his favorite medium. In particular, we find the pieces that are drawn across several IKEA pencils to be the most compelling—getting the perspective right must have been very difficult when the pencils keeps moving and threaten to roll away. We are also very thrilled with how he has managed to render his drawings on things like pencil shavings, and even the underside of a bagel.
