MED und Guilty Simpson droppen gemeinsame “Loyalty”-EP

Das erste Mal hat man MED und Guilty Simpson zusammen auf Dillas “The Shining“-Album aus 2006 gehört. Seitdem haben die beiden zahlreiche Projekte veröffentlicht, ein weiteres folgt heute: hier ist die “Loyalty” EP. Im Grunde gibt es nur 6 neue Tunes, u.a. “Face Down” (auf einem Black Milk Beat, hatten wir in der Playlist Anfang des Monats bereits), dazu 4 Instrumentals und Acapellas. Features kommen von Joyce Wrice, Blu, MNDSGN und J. Mitchell – runde Number, ab in Eure Mediathek mit dem hier:

“Ever since they first connected on J Dilla’s The Shining album in 2006, MED and Guilty Simpson have worked together on numerous records. And now, the duo have teamed up for a joint project called Loyalty. Equipped with six new songs, including the DopeHouse-premiered “Face Down” with Black Milk, the Cali to Detroit connection also recruit Blu, Joyce Wrice, J. Mitchell, and MNDSGN to assist on the EP—which also includes instrumental and acapella versions of select tracks.”
