Little Simz plus Band live @ Tiny Desk (Home) Concert // Video
Sie war sogar schon einmal hier, im Tiny Desk Studio, als es noch das echte lüdde Office war, aus welchem diese große Reihe entstanden ist. Das Ganze war vor 4 Jahren und seitdem hat sich eine Menge im Leben von Little Simz getan. Vier Jahre und zahlreiche Auszeichnungen später ist sie wieder dabei, allerdings in der Home Edition, also in einer privaten Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre irgendwo nahe der Heimat.
Zusammen mit ihrer Liveband, bestehend aus Kadeem “Kadz Keyz” Clarke an den Keys, Osiris ‘OTG’ Wilson als Background-Sänger, an den Percussions und als DJ, Emanuel J Burton an den Drums, Kenan Shepherd am Bass, Chrio Blake an der Gitarre, Obongjayar, Olivia ‘Livi Lovez’ Williams, Ladonna Young und Rachael ‘Chella Mac’ Mckenzie als Background Vocalists – und alle können sie was.
