„Le Baccanti“ – Neues Kollabo-Mural von Julieta XLF & Bifido im spanischen Requena

Unser Mural des Tages bescheren uns heute die Street Artists Julieta XLF & Bifido. Die beiden Künstler konnten uns zuletzt mit ihrem bezaubernden Piece „First Fire“ im italienischen Lecce beeindrucken. Die neuste Kooperation besagter Urban Artists erstreckt sich gleich über zwei Wände im im spanischen Requena. Im Mural „Le Baccanti“ betrachtet ein junges Mädchen quasi ihr gespiegeltes Selbst: „This time we are in Requena, Spain and looking at the reflection of a girl looking at herself as a free woman able to be whoever she wants, without compromise and perhaps at the possibility of her own emancipation. The wine, represented by some grape berries held in her hands, serves as chance of something else; the richness of the land and unconsciousness of one’s ability to achieve full awareness. The girl, split, looks at her previous self. A woman as fierce as the surrounding landscape that she holds strongly, making herself part of it“ – so die die Künstler Julieta XLF & Bifido selbst zu ihrem aktuellen Artwork.
