Na also, da ist der Fuchs: “Mona Lisa” ist das nächste Collabo-Projekt von Apollo Brown, der ja in diesem Jahr schon heftig mit dem Locksmith-Album “No Question” abgeliefert hat. Jetzt hat er sich mit Joell Ortiz (feat) zusammengeschlossen und nachdem im Vorfelde schon die Singles “Timberlan’d Up” (direkt in der Marbs Playlist gelandet!) und “Reflections” veröffentlicht wurden, gibt es ab heute das komlette Album – es ist eine “Mona Lisa” geworden! Das perfekte Werk, Inhalt statt Oberfläche, Boombap statt Trap, für mich jetzt schon eines der Highlights dieses fantastischen HopHop-Jahres. Pure dope, sofort in Eure Mediathek mit dem hier – Masterpiece!
