Creative Illustrations on Fashion Photographs by Dr Propolus aka Ilias Walchshofer

Diverse internationale Künstler haben uns in der Vergangenheit bereits mit immenser Kreativität in Form von Doodles und Illustrationen begeistern können. Auch Ilias Walchshofer aka Dr Propolus (instagram I facebook I tumblr) aus Berlin gehört seit heute dazu. Als Quelle der Inspiration dienen dem 25-jährigen Absolventen der Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule, überwiegend leichtbekleidete Models von diversen Fashion-Fotografien. Der Kontrast von Foto, Illustration und Texturen ist durchaus interessant anzusehen. Einige Beispiele aus dem kreativen Schaffen des Dr Propolus gibt’s direkt hier unten. Kuckt doch mal + Enjoy:

Ilias Walchshofer aka Dr Propolus is an Austrian/Moroccan artist who was born in Linz in 1991 and is now based in Berlin. Since graduating from Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule with a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Design in October 2015, he has been working as a film director. Ilias originally launched an Instagram photo series entitled #tittietuesday, a weekly update of ‘act photography’ combined with satirical life philosophy, but this account was deleted. His reaction was to start a new photo series, #conservativetuesday, in which he uses his photography – including inspirational footage of mostly naked women – and paints over it to cover certain body parts, in accordance with the Instagram guidelines. The series began with Ilias painting nuns’ habits onto women and has expanded to grow beyond this initial idea, resulting in a wider variety of illustrations.
