Frage: was macht ein Taxifahrer aus Yokohama/Japan mit einer Leidenschaft für’s Fotografieren, wenn er auf der Suche nach Fahrgästen ist? Klare Antwort: Fotos. Aber keine gewöhnlichen, Issui Enomoto hat eine besondere Vorliebe für Mehrfachbelichtung und so kommt es, dass er mehrere Szenen aus seiner Stadt nacheinander und eben auch übereinander fotografiert. Ob es nun Gebäude sind, die durch das künstliche Straßenlicht beleuchtet werden, oder halt Bäume, die am Straßenrand im Winde herumrascheln, zusammen mit den Menschen ergeben sie ein Gesamtbild der Stadt, was facettenreicher kaum sein könnte. Die Fotos sind wirklich großartig, hier ein paar Auszüge seiner Arbeiten:
“I work as a taxi driver in Yokohama. I always put cameras by my side and shoot various scenes of the town one after another, while looking for a passenger. The people who coming and going in a town and various components forming the town, these become the subject for photography. For example, buildings lighted up by the artificial light, roadside trees rustling in wind, the cars crossing the view incessantly and the viaducts of the expressway covering the sight, and so on.” – Issui Enomoto
