Am vergangenen Samstag war es wieder soweit, in Portland/Oregon wurden in einem 3000 Plätze fassenden Auditorium, die National Beard and Mustache Championships 2014 zelebriert. In insgesamt 18 Kategorien von „Freestyle Moustache“ bis „Amish Beard“ präsentierten Hunderte der World’s Best Beardsmen, ihre mühevoll gezüchtete und dem Anlass gebührend in Form gebrachte, Gesichtsbehaarung. Der ortsansässige Fotograf Craig Mitchelldyer hat einige der teilnehmenden Barträger porträtiert. Viel Spaß damit:

On October 25th, a man-valanche of epic proportions descended upon Portland, Oregon for the 2014 World Beard and Moustache Championships. Gentlemen both fancy and wild from around the world gathered to compete for recognition of their glorious facial hair.
