Lego Colosseum Made of 200.000 Single Bricks (8 Pictures)

Und nochmal LEGO: hier haben wir das erste, offizielle Lego-Kolosseum, erschaffen vom geprüftem LEGO-Ideenumsetz-Basteldude Ryan McNaught, der hier von seiner “technisch größten Herausforderung” spricht. Mehr als 200.000 Steine brauchte er für die Fertigstellung dieses ruinösen Rundbaus im romanischen Stil, mit Pavillions, Gladiatoren und Herrschern. Gebastelt wurde es für die Universität von Sydney, derzeit und noch bis zum Januar 2013 kann man es im Nicholson Museum in Melbourne/Australia bestaunen:

“We actually reallly like the size here in the construction of the world’s first Lego Colosseum, created by certified Lego builder, Ryan McNaught. Over 200.000 bricks were needed to create this Roman scene and structure, and you even get the outdoor pavillions and walkways with gladiators and rulers surrounding the great Colosseum.”
