Handbook – “Botanicals” (Free Mixtape)
“Botanicals” ist das neue Release von Handbook, den wir ja gerade auch erst auf der “Ten Million Sounds“-Compilation hatten und den ich auch schon einmal in einem Vlog gefeatured habe. Auf diesem Album gibt es sechs neue Instrumentals von Handbook, dem UK-based Beatsmith, die er selbst als “organisch elegant” umschreibt und die von klassischer Musik inspiriert sind. Es gibt natürlich wieder Samples, aber eben auch Piano-Sequenzen, Gitarrenspuren, sogar Flöten kommen zum Einsatz. But there’s still bass, so no worries.
