Beginnen wir diese Woche doch direkt mit einem Premium Highlight par excellence: hier sind Questlove von den Roots, zusammen mit D’Angelo, eine „Two Man Show“, live an einem Mittwochabend im July 2013 im Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, ein Event, bei dem ich oh so gerne dabei gewesen wäre. Von diesem Abend gibt es leider nicht (wie z.B. vom Abend im Jazz Café in London, 1996) irgendein offizielles Release, so etwas wie ein Live-Album. Es gibt nur das vor Ort mitgeschnittene Material und das ist in der Regel gar nicht so leicht zu finden.

Hier habe ich jetzt aber Alles für Euch (um ehrlich zu sein für mich, weil ich mir das ja gestern den ganten Tag angehört habe), die gesamten Auftritt in einer überarbeiteten Audio-Spur auf Soundcloud, das Gleiche auf Youtube. Dazu dann noch ein Live-Video von dem Abend zu der Nummer „Tell Me If You Still Care“ von der SOS Band und natürlich die gesamte Setlist. Ich weiß, es ist unglaublich, was ich hier schon wieder Gutes für Euch tue, aber ey: gern geschehen! Bittesehr!
