Braxton Cook veranstaltet ein “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” // Video
Geil! Braxton Cook haben wir schon seit über 4 Jahren auf dem Schirm, zuletzt hatten wir sein “Somewhere In Between“-Projekt aus 2018 am Stimsraque. Aktuell kann ja nicht wirklich ein “Tiny Desk Concert” stattfinden, zumindest nicht in den NPR Räumlichkeiten, weshalb diese Reihe jetzt einfach mal in die Häuser/Wohnungen der Musiker verlegt wurde.
Und diese Woche gibt den Jazz-Musiker (und Soul und HipHop und zeitgenössisch und zeitlos – alles auf einmal!) Braxton Cook dann eben von zuhause aus, ohne Band aber mit sehr viel Passion. Wir hören die Tunes “Shooting Star”, “We Major”, “Never Thought” und “Hymn (for Trayvon Martin)” – viel Spaß und Happy Weekend!
