Ein perfekter Skateboarding-Clip aus Brooklyn / New York City! Es geht um die magische Anziehungskraft des Big Apple und ich freue mich enorm, Ende des Monats nach fast 4 Jahren mal wieder hier zu sein (Infos folgen!). Der Film “Street Jazz” von Gerrit Piechowski ist quasi eine audiovisuelle Postkarte aus New York. Für den Soundtrack zeichnet sich kein Geringerer als Falk Schacht verantwortlich, die Tracks in diesem Clip kommen von Dexter, Suff Daddy, Figub Brazlevic, Morlockko Plus, Busy, Brisk Fingaz, Kova und Kinski und ich bin mir sicher, dass es da in absehbarer Zeit einen Stream geben wird – Ihr werdet hier natürlich versorgt. Wir haben hier die herrlichsten Bilder aus Brooklyn/New York, top notch skateboarding (wobei es hier weniger um heftige Tricks geht als um das Lebensgefühl), einen supergeilen Soundtrack – wie für WHUDAT gemacht, viel Liebe für “Street Jazz”:
“The Story of New York City got told a billion times and that’s for a reason. We are talking about some kind of a magnetic pull, wether it’s the concrete, asphalt or the different smell of each corner. Speaking out loud “New York City” is like music in your ears and that may be the reason why they name it twice. Even though it did not always worked out the way we wanted it to be, the city was constantly inspiring. We spent 3 weeks in a Brooklyn apartment – followed and filmed by Gerrit Piechowski. The Result is a audiovisual postcard including the soundtrack by Falk Schacht.”
