Slum Village dropt mit “The Lost Scrolls Vol. 2” neues Album mit bisher unveröffentlichtem Material + Q-Tip Remix

Und schon wieder: Connaisseurs-Mucke! Heute gibt es eine Perle aus dem Slum Village-Dunstkreis, rund um die Protagonisten T3, Baatin, J Dilla, Q-Tip und Young RJ herum. 20 Jahre nach dem Release von “Fantastic Vol.2” (okay, 18, aber eigentlich 20, weil das Album in ’98 hätte gedropt werden sollen) kommt nun “The Lost Scrolls Vol. 2”, ein Album mit 11 bisher unreleased Tracks von Slum Village aus der Zeit, in der sie noch Teenager waren und gerade frisch die Highschool beendet haben. Anspieltipp ist “Hold Tight” in einem Remix von und mir Q-Tip. Im Sommer gehen Slum Village auf Tour und von Young RJ wird eine “Detroit Compilation” kommen. Wir halten Euch auf dem Laufenden! “The Lost Scrolls Vol. 2. is an 11-track drop, many of these songs were actually recorded while the three were still in their teens shortly out of high school. Led by the “original” version (dubbed the “lost remix”) of “Hold Tight” with Q-Tip, the project comes ahead of both Slum Village’s upcoming summer tour and the release of Young RJ’s Detroit compilation.”
