Tolle Serie von Split-Fotografien von der chilenischen Künstlerin Isabel M. Martinez, die zwei Bilder innerhalb eines Momentes macht und diese dann in der Nachbearbeitung als eine Art Streifenmuster miteinander verschmelzen lässt. So kommt es, dass die einzelnen Bilder ein kurzes Gefühl von Kontinuität vermitteln, die Bilder wirken fast wie eine GIF-Animation. Abgesehen davon handelt es sich um sehr interessante Motive, seht ein paar Beispiele Ihrer Arbeit nach dem Jump:

“According to quantum mechanics we have forty conscious moments per second, and our brains connect this sequence of nows to create the illusion of the flow of time. So, what would things look like if that intermittence was made visible? This body of work explores that hiccup, that blink, that ubiquitous fissure in the falling-into-place of things.”
