Ein wirklich guter Timelapse-Clip aus Paris, “PARIS – The City Of Light” – gemacht von Benjamin Trancart aka “Trak” mit einer Canon 7D (18-135mm, 16-35mm). Der Produzent sagt, dass “City Of Light” nicht bedeuten soll, dass es in Paris eine Menge Licht gibt. Vielmehr beziehe sich der Titel auf das Licht aus Wissenschaft und Philosophie, welches durch berühmte Persönlichkeiten wie Buffon, Jussieu, Diderot, d’Alembert, Voltaire, Rousseau, Condorcet oder Montesquieu im 18. Jahrhundert leuchtete – na dann! Die Mucke kommt von Amon Tobin, “Yasawas”:
“Paris, City of Light” doesn’t mean “the city with a lot of beautiful lights” but, rather, “the city where during the eighteenth century, the lights of science (with the biologists like Buffon or Jussieu and with the encyclopedy writers like Diderot or d’Alembert) and the lights of philosophy (Voltaire, Rousseau, Condorcet, Montesquieu, …) have been lit.
