Ein paar Illustrationen vom einflussreichen, amerikanischen Maler David Salle. Der Typ arbeitete nämlich eine Zeit lang als Art-Director bei einem Verlag für Romantik/Erotik-Magazine, wo er zunächst endlos viel Archiv-Material sammelte, um dieses dann später in seine im Collagen-Style gehaltene Gemälde mit einzubringen. Simply juxtaposed:

“David Salle, one of the more influential representational painters working during the 1980s and 90s, has a unique collection of references. Using images from popular culture he created these paintings with oddly juxtaposed styles and a distinctly collaged aesthetic.”
