‘Northern Lights’ – Street Artist Smug One mit imposantem Mural in Schweden
Vor ein paar Jahren wurden wir erstmals auf das uberdope Schaffen von Street Artist Smug One aufmerksam. Mit einem extrem sehenswerten Mural im hyperrealistischen Stil (hier) konnte uns der Künstler aus Glasgow massiv beeindrucken. In der Folge haben wir an dieser Stelle natürlich weitere Pieces vom guten Smug One präsentiert (Features). Soeben wurde im Rahmen des Artscape Festivals ein brandneues Piece besagten Künstlers zum Thema ‘Northern Lights’ in Partille, einem Ortsteil vom schwedischen Göteborg, gefinisht. In the Finnish origin story of the northern lights a firefox is an outcast because sparks fly from his tail as he run, setting things on fire. But one night he redeems himself by igniting the sky to help a lost hiker find his way in the icy woods. This wall by Street Artist Smug One is now a record holder – tallest mural in Sweden!
