J Cole „Eyez“ Documentary + „Everybody Gotta Die“ (Official Video // „4 Your Eyez Only“ Album Coming!)
Oh Du fröhliche Vorweihnachtszeit: als wenn der Release des neue Childish Gambino Albums heute nicht schon erfüllend genug gewesen wäre, kommt zur gestrigen Ankündigung auf das neue J Cole Album „4 Your Eyez Only“ (VÖ = 09.12.) heute auch noch eine 40-minütigen Doku namens „Eyez“.
Die Doku schildert Coles Leben nach dem abgeschlossenen „2014 Forest Hills Drive„-Projekt (inkl. Live-Album und mehrteiliger „Road To Homecoming„-Dokureihe) und begleitet den Entstehungsprozess zum neuen Überraschungsalbum „4 Your Eyez Only“, welches in der kommenden Woche veröffentlicht wird.
Es gibt eine Menge spannender Details aus dem Studio zu sehen, die von Scott Lazer produziet wurde. Nach einer knappen, halben Stunde gibt es eine saftige Randbemerkung (Diss würde ich hier nicht sagen, dafür ist Cole zu souverän) zur allgemeinen Prophetisierung von Kanye West, über welche man einmal nachdenken könnte:

Und weil wir hier ja gerade schon von Weihnachten gesprochen haben: das neue Video zu „Everybody Gotta Die“ ist gerade auch noch gedropt.
