The Fox Theater I, Oakland
Ein wirklich sensationell gute Foto-Serie von unterschiedlichen Filmtheatern und Kinos aus Californ-I-A mit dem Namen “Cinema” von dem aus Frankreich kommenden und inzwischen in New York lebenden Fotografen Franck Bohbot. Quasi eine Hommage an die Geschichte des Kinos, es gibt Bilder von exquisit designten Schauspielhäusern bis hin zu einigen eher independent daherkommenden Kinos. Aber egal was wir sehen, jedes einzelne Bild schreit einen förmlich an, so schnell wie möglich mal wieder ins Kino zu gehen. Einziger Nachteil: vergleicht diese Schönheiten einmal mit Eurem lokalen Cinemaxx und fragt Euch dann, wie das passieren konnte. Whatsoever – this is beautiful:
