Anamorphic Typography Illusion – “Face Reality As It Is” (4 Pics + Clip)

Kriegen mich jedes Mal: diese anamorphotischen Illusionen, ganz besonders die Typo-lastigen. Seht hier die vom aus Chicago kommenden Grafik-Designer Thomas Quinn, der dieses illusorische Artwork in dem Raum über der Garage im Haus seiner Eltern an die Wand brachte. Der Claim “Face Reality As It Is” passt hier natürlich präziser als Ronaldo, unter den Bildern noch ein Clip:

“I just did a little test with something called ‘anamorphic typography’. In short, it is an illusion where the type looks just right when viewed from the exact right spot, but it looks stretch and warped when viewed from anywhere else in the room. For what it is worth, I certainly didn’t invent this sort of effect, and I’d like to give lots of credit to this project by Joseph Egan and Hunter Thompson for tipping me off to the idea, as well as the artist Felice Varini.”

    ich mag die bilder auf den Strassen das ist richtige Kunst

    das hier ist n netter Gimmick

    aber mit nem OHP an die Wand geworfen und schon kann man das einfach nachmalen

    am besten ist hier der Spruch an sich
