Def Dee (Mellow Music Group) – “Cheap Heat” (Free Instrumental Beattape)
Dass sämtliche Produktionen der Mellow Music Group (Acts wie Oddisee, Trek Life, Apollo Brown, yU, Georgia Anne Muldrow etc.) für Qualität stehen, ist allgemein bekannt. Dort scheint es einen Neuzugang zu geben, “Def Dee“, der sich mit diesem ersten Beattape sofort bei mir in die Hirnride gefräst hat, durchweg gute Produktionen. Der Typ kommt aus Seattle und nennt Produzenten wie Dilla, Madlib, Premo und Pete Rock als Inspiration, mich erinnern seine Beats streckenweise an die von Suff Daddy – aber macht Euch selbst ein Bild, Player + DL-Link nach dem Jump:
