„Just a Couple O‘ Dirty Pigeons“ – Mural von Nate Frizzell in Los Angeles

Auf das dope Schaffen vom kalifornischen Street Artist Nate Frizzell wurden wir erstmals im vergangenen Sommer aufmerksam. Damals steuerte der gute Mann ein bezauberndes Piece zum POW! WOW!-Festival in Long Beach bei. Thematisch lässt der gute Mann die Protagonisten seiner Werke bekanntlich Felder wie Innere Wünsche, Suche nach Identität oder die ungezügelte Leidenschaft der Jugend beackern. Mensch und Tier, Natur und Stadtlandschaften kombiniert Frizzell in seinen Murals auf sehr spezielle Weise. Heute dürfen wir ein brandneues Werk von Mr.Frizzell aus seiner Heimatstadt Los Angeles bestaunen. Guckt doch mal – unser Mural des Tages, mindestens:

Who we are at work. How we act around friends and family. The way we speak to others. We are all of these and none of these, a revolving collection of faces. Of masks. These meditations inform the work of Nate Frizzell. Lovingly rendered through bold colors and powerful compositions, his stirring narratives pay tribute to primal emotions of the wild at heart. Juxtaposing man and beast, nature and urban landscapes, Nate’s subjects convey the quest for identity, the fire of innermost desires, and the unbridled passion of youth. They often portray faces hidden but emotions nakedly exposed.
