Das Quokka aka Kurzschwanzkänguru aka “the happiest animal in the world” erfreut sich aktuell auf Instagram wachsender Beliebtheit. Australische Touristen starteten jüngst den “#QuokkaSelfie“-Trend und posteten Ihre Selbstporträts mit dem fröhlich dreinblickenden Beuteltier in dem Sozialen Netzwerk. Einige sehr gelungene Schnappschüsse von Usern mit dem 25 bis 35 cm kleinen Quokkas haben wir hier unten einmal für Euch zusammengesammelt. Have fun:

There’s a new selfie trend catching on lately, and it may be the cutest and happiest yet. Named the ‘Quokka Selfie’, individuals have been scrambling to snap a self-portrait with the cheerful-looking critter, which was once crowned the ‘world’s happiest animal’. You can also get in on the act by taking photos with the resident joyful animal of Rottnest Island, Western Australia, and hashtag your snaps with ‘#QuokkaSelfie’.
