Massive Mural by Urban Artists “Monkeybird” for Grenoble Street Art Fest // France

Das Grenoble Street Art Fest versammelt derzeit zahlreiche Größen der Urban Art in der Hauptstadt des französischen Départements Isère. Die von uns bekanntlich sehr geschätzten Artists Seth Globepainter und Lonac sind ebenfalls mit von der Partie. Heute präsentieren wir Euch allerdings zuerst einmal das gigantische Mural eines französischen Street Art-Duos namens Monkeybird aus Bordeaux. Auf 22 x 13 Metern ersteckt sich das wahnsinnig detailliert daherkommende Stück Wallart, welches die Künstler “Blow” the Bird und “Temor” the Monkey dem Festival beisteuerten. Bereits seit 2010 leben die beiden ihre immense Kreativität in Stencils, Collages, Murals, Drawings oder Carvings aus. Astronomie und Wissenschaft stehen im Zentrum ihres neusten und maximal beeindruckenden Werks im Süden Frankreichs. Ein paar Eindrücke dieses massiven Monkeybird-Murals bekommt Ihr direkt hier unten. French duo Monkeybird just wrapped up an impressive piece of work in southern France for the Grenoble Street Art Festival which took place last week. Based out of Bordeaux, the two artists using symbolic anthropomorphism in their artworks (wild animals in urban areas). Most of their inspiration comes from the sacred or lyrical works like illuminations, stained glass, and architectural ornamentation. The composition of this 22-meters high wall is based on a circular symbol and talks about astronomy and science. At the bottom, they depicted the human industry while at the top several astronomy tools are appearing.
