Derlee – “Off The Beat’n Path” (Free Soulful Chill-Hop Mixtape)
Derlee ist ein aus Gibsonia/Pittsburgh/Pennsylvania kommender Producer, dessen Mixtape “Off The Beat’n Path” wir gerade erst entdeckt haben und der seine Musik als souligen Chill-Hop beschreibt, was man unkommentiert so stehenlassen kann. Die Beats von Derlee haben allesamt einen sehr positiven, sommerlichen Vibe, sie erinnern mich von der Ästhetik so ein bißchen an die Sachen von Vanilla. Das Einzige, was mir nicht ganz so gut gefällt, ist das Cover-Artwork. Aber man soll ein Book ja auch nicht beim Cover judgen, hört Euch das hier mal an, ich bin mir sicher, es gefällt:
