Abnormal – “Pretty Girls Like Dope Beats” (Atmospheric Experimental HipHop Beattape)
Sitze hier in Queenstown/Neuseeland nach meinem heutigen Bungee-Jump und der Shotover-Jet Tour durch die Felsschluchten der lokalen Flüsse ziemlich tiefenentspannt in einem der vermutlich herrlichsten Hotelzimmer (eher: Apartments) der Stadt mit Kamin und Bärenfell auf dem Bett und habe mein MacBook an die (tatsächlich ziemlich gute) Musik-Anlage angeschlossen. Und dann stolpere ich über dieses neue Tape des aus St Louis kommenden Producers Abnormal (mehrfach gefeatured), der dem Titel des Albums zufolge ein paar sehr dope Beats für hübsche Ladies gemacht hat. Nun bin ich zwar keine hübsche Lady – die Beats finde ich aber trotzdem dope, höre das Ding hier gerade zum dritten Mal hintereinander durch. Es gibt hauptsächlich Intrumentals, mit “The Amygdala Never Sleeps” aber auch einen Rap-Tune mit einem guten Stainless Steele-Feature. Natürlich Alles wie gewohnt sehr ambient, sehr downtempo, halt super gechillt. Falls Ihr auch in den Urlaub wollt oder zumindest so ein Gefühl haben möchtet, dann drückt hier unten einfach auf Play und gebt Euch dieses Beattape laut. Für mich gibt es jetzt erstmal ein Gläschen Rotwein und dann werde ich auch so tun:
