9/11 – Animated Typography Memorial

Ein Clip von Jeremiah Warren, der aus den geschätzten 3.000 Namen der 9/11-Opfer einen typografisch animierten Memorial-Clip bastelte. Als ich am Freitag Abend zum Flughafen (Newark) gefahren wurde, waren bereits verschäfte Sicherheitsmaßnahmen festzustellen. Überall fanden Polizeikontrollen statt, für die knapp 26km brauchten wir ca. 90 Minuten, hatte irgendwie auch ein zimlich creepy Gefühl im Magen. 9/11, 10 Jahre ist das jetzt schon her, doh:

“I took the names of the victims of 9/11 and created typographic images from 9/11 photographs, and then animated it, all the images were non-editorial, other than the Raising the Flag image and two from the Public Domain. The Flickr community was very kind in allowing me to use these images since it was a non-commercial project.”
