Wenn ich’s nicht besser wüsste, dann würde ich bei diesen Werken hier ganz klar auf Russ Mills tippen – ist er aber nicht! Fast schon dreist, wie er Mills‘ Style bited, dennoch zu gut, um hier nicht vorgestellt zu werden. Joshua Miels vermischt für seine zeitgenössische Kunst traditionelle und moderne Technik, aus mehreren (angeblich bis zu 100) handgemalten Schichten entstehen seine Werke, die dann noch einmal digital glattgebügelt werden. Auf jeden Fall sind die Bilder street genug, um bei mir an den Wänden einen Platz zu finden:
