Der aktive reddit-User Shystone kommt aus London und interessiert sich für historische Kunst und hat diese beiden Dots einmal connected: hier sind 10 Bilder von klassischen Gemälden – wie z.B. das „River Thames with St. Paul’s Cathedral on Lord Mayor’s Day“-Bild hier oben, welches der Maler Giovanni Antonio „Canaletto“ Canal im Jahre 1746 fertigstellte – die über Fotos aus der heutigen Zeit gelegt wurden, bzw. so mit Ihnen kombiniert wurden, dass das antike Material mit den modernen Bildern verschmelzt. London ist ja ohnehin eine sehr historische Stadt, was diese Mashups hier erneut nachdrücklich unter Beweis stellen.
