Ihr erinnert Euch an den “Empty Los Angeles”-Clip von Ross Ching, den ich im Juni 2010 hier hatte? Der machte damals eine ziemlich große Runde im Web und Gleiches erwarte ich für seine neue Serie namens “Empty America”, die gerade über Trashlab (youtube-Channel) veröffentlicht wird. Das hier ist der erste Teil, das menschenleere San Francisco, die Highlights werde ich hier in regelmäßigen Abständen veröffentlichen. D-d-d-dope:
This series of videos aims to show some of the most iconic cities in America without people. It’s a series that was initially inspired by Matt Logue’s photo series “Empty LA”. Two years ago, I took his concept and combined it with what I do best; time lapse photography. The video “Running on Empty” was such a huge success that I wanted to expand upon it but didn’t have a budget to do so. Then YouTube announced their premium channel service and Thrash Lab was created. I pitched them on the idea and we began creating the series starting with San Francisco.
