“Coolin’ Out” – Kona Hawaii through the Lens of Photographer Van Styles
Fresh Van Styles, y’all: Fragt man Fotografen und WHUDAT-Stammgast Van Styles nach den größten Vorzügen seines Jobs, bekommt man keinesfalls den fast täglichen Kontakt zu den bezaubernsten Damen des Planeten, zur Antwort. Der in Los Angeles lebende Künstler ist über die Möglichkeit, mittlerweile kurzfristig und problemlos nahezu jeden Ort auf der Welt bereisen zu können, weitaus dankbarer. Ein Punkt der sich aus unserer Sicht absolut und gänzlich nachvollziehen lässt! Tatsächlich ist doch nichts bereichernder, als die verschiedenden Facetten der Welt sowie Kulturen und Menschen mit eigenen Augen und Ohren zu erleben und kennenzulernen. Von einem spontanen Trip nach Kona Hawaii brachte der gute Mr. Styles beispielsweise kürzlich sein “Coolin’ Out”-Set mit. Einige Beispiele daraus haben wir direkt hier unten. One of the things I am most thankful for is to have the good fortune to travel and see things. While I am still wet behind the ears with this (I have only really been able to travel freely for the past 2 1/2 years) I am enjoying it more and more. Documenting the places,people and things I see is a awesome feeling. I decided to take a trip to Kona,HI this year simply because I had never been there. What I had found was a vast landscape that changed from one side of the island to the other. Definitely a big contrast from Los Angeles but a beautiful one at that. Looking back on the variety of images I captured it reminds me how important it is to travel wherever you can in life. Get out there and see for yourself! – Van Styles
