Ein schönes Set an fotorealistischen Gemälden vom New Yorker Subway System von dem aus Japan kommenden Künstler Hisaya Taira. Neben der fantastischen Umsetzung ist als weitere Besonderheit zu erwähnen, dass hier die Egoperspektive als Kompositionstechnik diente. Der Mann ist und war einfach fasziniert von der (Menschen-)Leere, die selbst eine Metropole wie New York bisweilen zu bieten hat – etwas, was es in seinem Heimatland in der Form so nicht gibt:
