Gestern war es dann also soweit, die Grammy Awards 2016 fanden statt, für welche Kendrick Lamar insgesamt 11x nominiert war und immerhin auch 5x abräumen konnte, für Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Best Rap Album und für das Feature im Taylor Swift Video zu “Bad Blood”. Und damit das nicht in Vergessenheit gerät: Mein favorisierter Soul-Crooner D’Angelo hat auch 2 Grammies gewonnen, Best R&B Album und Best R&B Song (“Really Love”). Das Highlight des Abends war allerdings die unfassbar geile Show von Kendrick Lamar, der eine Performance hingelegt hat, die in die Musikgeschichte eingehen wird, da sind sich alle einig (selbst das Weiße Haus, jeez!). Falls Ihr es nicht nach Los Angeles geschafft habt – hier ist sie, die komplette Show und wer immer noch kein Fan ist, ist doof.
