Kunst auf Bananen – was auch gar nicht so schwer umzusetzen ist, die Props gehen aber an die Grafikerin, Illustratorin und Erschafferin dieser Artworks “Honey“, die immerhin die Idee hatte. Mit einer Sicherheitsnadel wird die Schale bepikert, etwas Luft und Zeit erledigen dann den Rest. Für ein Artwork wie diese hier von Jack Nicholson, den Blues Brothers, Gene Simmons, Bob Marley oder Jim Morrison braucht sie zwischen 20 Minuten und 2 Stunden, dann wird’s fotografiert, dann … gegessen. Mit Schale. Das war eine Lüge, natürlich ohne die Schale:
“Artist Honey, founder of the website Sweet-Station, has discovered a unique way to turn bananas into art. The graphic artist and illustrator always has bananas around the house and, one day, she decided to draw on the outside peel. But, the pen kept poking through the skin so Honey picked up a safety pin and started illustrating through a creative pointillism technique. (…) Each piece takes anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours to create and, when she’s done, Honey takes a photograph and then eats her art as a snack!”
