Auf nowness gerade ein Special über “25 Jahre Def Jam Recordings” entdeckt. Es ist schon ein Wahnsinn, wie Rick Rubin und Russel Simmons mit ihrem Label die (HipHop-)Welt für immer verändert haben – 25 Jahre gibt’s die nun schon, haben die derbsten Acts hervorgebracht, drüben gibt’s ein paar Statements der Influencer von damals, ein paar Bilder gibt’s hier:
